Title: What are the copyright laws regarding games like Ship Sim?

I can't really figure out how to elaborate further than what the title gives. Is there some kind of "Read Me" out there in the game's files or something that mention this?

I was more concerned about reproduction and distribution rights. You know, like posting game footage on the internet.

Putting videos up should be fair use. Since you are not putting up the original works.

However, if your videos contain the radio or horn sounds generated by Fred and myself, I wouldn't want you post any sequences containing more than a short sample (2 seconds or less) of my work. Otherwise, expereince shows that many posters on VS will be recording them and trying to claim authorship within a short while.

anyway, surely Vstep would be happy that you are putting your own in game footage of ship sim on the interweb, because in a way your advertising the game. :) and actually, I only bought the game after seeing videos made by users of it on you tube, may even have been one of you lot! ;D
