Title: Is there an update for this?

Hi mates,   
            Is there currently or coming soon update for crash effects like fire and the hull completly breaking apart or is there a copyright for the ship real creators?

Hi starwars42097,

Such things are not going to be added to SS08.

In the future maybe there will be more special effects, but since this simulation game revolves around keeping the ships afloat and safe, and trying to do the job without getting damage, don't expect any spectacular things.

Hulls breaking up doesn't really have much priority, since if a ship is THAT badly damaged, you'd have failed the mission by then anyway...   :)

Fire is an option, because firefighting would be a very nice addition to the simulation. 

There's also the question of what the ship owners feel about that..  maybe P&O does not want to see their pride ablaze.. same for many of the other real world operators. Can be a difficult point.

Not likely; the developers have enough to do, as it is. This simulator is about the proper operation of ships—it is not a demolition derby, or an aquatic GTA.
