Hi Trains.

It looks very good. Lots of good feedback as well.

I'm not sure whether you're used to using a guitar with wide frets like this, or more closely spaced ones. Just a point to watch out for. I use wide frets because my hands are large enough, and I find close-fretted guitars are difficult.

I had a Fender Bass many years ago, A lovely piece of gear.

If you're into Telecasters, that's the Telecaster to get.  Great reviews on Musician's Friend, too.

It is toward the top of the Fender Tele range, so you could get something which sounds, feels and looks almost as good for much less than that.  But it's only money, you can eat beans and noodles for a few weeks, and classic American-made Fenders are a lifetime investment  8)

Well there is one place near me that has the Tele, for $1,200, but where am I gonna get that money before someone buys it there?

And there is another reason I want that guitar(besides the fact I want an electric to go with my acoustic) Can anyone guess it? ::)

To impress Spambot?  ;D

Nice tele there.. I'm more of a strat man, and superstrats, but have always had a soft spot for the tele's looks...  :)

To say that you are saying nothing really just defeats the purpose of saying nothing ;D.

I'm a 335 man all the way. To say I love mine would be a massive understatement. :)

Actually not. To Trains, it will explain that I understand completely. But then he knows something about me that you don't...

Actually so.

To say nothing is to say nothing. That's it. You can take the literal meaning and make it into another meaning, but that would be wrong, in a technicality. To say that you are saying nothing is just the shaping of meaning, making it a phrase, when it should in fact be the definition to say nothing.

To say nothing: To not speak or let one know of thought.

And I wish I knew you better professor :( ;D.

But you do now know that I used to play a Fender Bass.

And that I think the Fender that Trains is looking at is a fine piece of craftmanship.

What sort?

I'm a Warwick man myself, but I'd love a Steve Harris signature P-bass  8)

looks cool, if you know guitar go for it, @ terry talking about feedback, i'm all too familiar with feedback, working in the theatre industry on the tech crew we get it all too often, annoying as heck :D and it was funny when the kid in the orchestra playing the upright bass was getting feedback ;D

Don't pay that much for a Telecaster dude. I speak from experience when I say, have a good look around first. I got a Gibson Custom 335 (Larry Carlton signature) for £950. The RRP for that is £4200. ;)
