Hi Terry, I use Comcast cable company for TV and internet. My computer is UNPROTECTED against viruses and malware. They say that if you use comcast you can download the McAffee security suite for FREE. I tried downloading it, but it said that my computer is not connected to the internet. Same message when I tried to get windows live messenger. Here is my DxDiag if it is of any use.

Sounds like a DNS or firewall problem. You need to speak to your /ISP(Comcast) about it. They can probably talk you through it in a few minutes,
PS, I don't see any way you'll be able to run Ship Simulator on that PC. 1.6GHz is way too slow.

Haha...I know that. I can run it though, it is just VERy bad. When I get some money I am going to get a custom built laptop that will be able to run SS. Ok, I will talk to comcast about that. Thanks for that advice! :)

Good luck.
If you disappear from the forum for a week, we'll know that Comcast's Technical Support section aren't so good.

Well Terry, I was able to fix the problem. AS it turned out, it saw our connection when we tried it on an admins account. Same with the MSN problems I was having.

What was the cause, in the end?

We never figured it out...
