There are Red Eagle, Red Osprey, and Red Falcon. Catamarans; A.K.A. Red Jets; are Red Jet 1, Red Jet 2, Red Jet 3, and Red Jet 4. They are the Red Funnels that are in service today.

There are three.

Southampton, East Cowes and West Cowes, as shown on that link. It would be pointless having 9 in the Solent...  ;D

Between Washington State Ferries and B.C. Ferries—one of the world’s largest ferry systems—our little corner of the planet has more ferries serving more beautiful routes than anyplace else.

There are some missions produced by yours truly that do exactly that.

Well, there is also another berth, 25 Berth Gate 4 in Southampton, which is used when the main berth is out of action, I did create a mission where you berth there instead, but I don't no what happened to it.

Talking of dropping of passengers at Ryde Pier, Wightlink, some MANY years in the past, used to pick up/drop of passengers on their Portsmouth-Fishbourne route at Clarence Pier and Ryde Pier, but this was eventually dropped, and the route just went straight from Portsmouth to Fishbourne

Sorry, what I meant was the car ferry service used to do a stop at Ryde Pier, although, looking at the book, it wasn't a permanent link, it was something done on Christmas Day 1969, and again in 1970, the Portsmouth Fishbourne vessel moored also at Ryde, en route from Portsmouth. It was done by the ferry Cuthred.

When I go to IoW, I usually take the Hovercraft. Easier to park the car in Southsea (coming from Selsey, it's an easy run).

Daniel,

Why don't you stop posting useless squares and contribute something helpful - we all know you can speak English.

Don't forget there's Caledonian MacBrayne too, the state-owned ferry company which serves 22 islands on the West of Scotland and has 29 ferries in active service (plus 2 on long term charter).

Many of Caledonian MacBrayne's routes have really stunning scenery too, just like Washington State Ferries & BC ferries' routes ;)
