it is a nice idea, where you need to cross a small body of water, with no bridges, but don't want to have to take a boat, and a bus?

Ours is just a creepy tourist attraction (which I have never been on)

From your picture A|A that is a WW2 dukw which is being used. We have exactly the same here in Liverpool with a bright yellow one.

what to think of one of this one (http://www.gibbstech.co.uk/images/photosetc/humdinga_rescue.jpg) or one of the other GIBBS machines (http://www.quadski.com/), or if you also like to travel underwater (http://www.rinspeed.com/pages/cars/squba/gallery/250/squba_a1_250.jpg) with the Rinspeed sQuba (http://www.rinspeed.com/) or better like to fly a boat (http://iot-ito.nrc-cnrc.gc.ca/images/jetlev.jpg) the jetlev flyer (http://www.jetlev-flyer.com/)
