Title: My first try at making cool images.
Post by: firestar12 on March 15, 2009, 14:35:30
I don't know if I could call it photography since I didn't take the pic, but if anyone could clear the up, please do thanks. Let me know how you like.

What do you mean if it's not your picture?

I like to make virtual images, as in, images from Virtual Sailor, and Ship Simulator, then edit them a bit.

Here's a picture's of the Jean Jaures trawler (one of my favourites) From Virtual Sailor, with a little title at the top, and some editing of the water.

Nicely edited picture Firestar!

Jack ;D
p.s. I turned all my graphics setting's up to High Quality on my Jean Jaures picture, to produce that :)

Thats very good indeed!

But I was thinking, is it actually possable to fool people (if you put a lot of work into a picture) into thinking it is older than it actually is?

Because, on modern Camera's, there's focus etc. so the image is much more focused than what it would be had it been in the 60's-70's-80's?

Although, maybe its possable to get rid of that, I don't know, I'm no expert by any means

It is possible, you have to mess around with levels, saturation etc... ;)
