It would be nice if could. In a storm waves will get up to 8 meters and higher won't they
-
There are several threads that have touched on this subject. If you use the search function you will find a lot of information about waves and what some people have found out...
To my understanding, no, 4m will be the highest for the foreseeable future.

Yes I have seen the pics of that experiment, but I don't want to temper with the game itself. :P We'll have to do with the 4 meter waves then. :)

Yep, indeed heres an example of waves in the Atlantic, just compare these ones with the ones in SS08.

No, start a brand new, nearly-identical, thread... That'll be better ;D
-
Nope, he could have just used an exsisting one that is less obsolete... ::)
;D

Or better still he could have figured out how to press that awkward buton with "search" stamped on it. I know that the meaning isn't very clear (i.e. that you can do a search by typing a word into the box and pressing the button) but maybe, just maybe someone will work out how to use it and let everyone else in on the secret? ;)
[edit]
Sorry, I forgot to add: Marmite.
-
Perhaps he DID use the search button... and the computer told him this thread was best to discuss the wave height of mar*ite.

You've been here since September 2007, surely you know it's better not to raise old topics :P
Note: This post refers to a post by Third Mate on 20 March 2010, which TM subsequently removed.

You better look at his Total Time Spent Online: 8 days, 7 hours and 12 minutes than on a date of registering if you want to learn something about member's forum experience.

Hi WM,
He (Third Mate) has been trolling the forum for some excuse to post complaints during the past days. Waking this topic here was a violation of the posting rules.

Now it's like Nathan woke up all the thing...
Third Mate,
Also, since you have completely rewritten your original post and deleted others to avoid embarrassment, we should add you to the list of those whose posts should be quoted in full when replying.
That is bad forum etiquette, and reason to have every one of your posts flagged for reference.
Writing it down now:

Yes, WM, I should have followed my own advice.
I wonder where he learned that bad habit.

Perhaps people realize their own mistakes & stupidity after looking at their posts from a side? And, unlike in real life, here they have an ability to edit the history.

How am i on that list? This is week is the first time i've actually spent time on here since about December/January...
Wait...I'd rather not be made a show of on the open forum again...but think about how people may feel when they see their name on a list like that next time? Thanks...

I’d move this topic if I could think of a place worthy of it.
I’ll just drive a stake through its heart so it will slowly sink into oblivion, never to arise again.
