Title: need help finding the download link for the patches.

Greetings all.

I am having trouble with finding the patch for ship simulator which I have been finding dead end after dead end even from the mirrors that are shown in the downloads section. They all point me off into a huge dead end and I have even googled and found nothing but places where you have to pay a huge or small or a huge amount of small or a combination of everything just to find out there is a dead link and was removed on a certain date by the owner. I have lost a huge sum of much needed money which I will never get a dime of it back and I have decided to come here to see where or how I can get this one patch. I once had it on my external Hard Drive but the thing taken a huge fall and was killed instantaneously which really made this a inconvenience to me.

If there can be any where that I can go to get it patched. Please do let me know.

Which patch are you seeking?

What version do you have installed now?

I just went to the front page at
www.shipsim.com
then to the patches page.

I clicked on the Gamershell link for the 1.x=>1.4.2 patch and it downloaded just fine.

I have gone there and at 6 MB out of the 600+ MB's it just cuts out on me and it goes painfully slow.

I just tried it and it is going slow. (it will take 20+hours today, according to Internet Explorer).

Anyone else have a link that works?

In the meanwhile, you should install a download manager that will pick up dropped downloads from where they stopped. That should make life easier for you.

well after much more researching and a whole ton of digging I have finally found this link which has more than reliable links. http://www.fileradar.net/games/view/Ship-Simulator-2008/2930  Thanks for what ever help that I have received.

Hey Terry

No problem for the link. Now if only if I can figure out the crashing problem when it stops working when I am with the Titanic and any other ship.
