Title: George Carlin
Post by: trains on February 15, 2009, 20:04:11
Hey guys, everyone, if not most, remember George Carlin. Well sadly he's not around anymore, and will be missed.

Well I was thinking, in memory, we can talk about him in a positive way, post his videos and tribute videos to him.

Also, remember, June 22, is "George Carlin Day."

I love his work, he was a great great guy.

But..

Most of his work does contain profanity. This clip should be okay (I didn't watch it all yet) cause it's on the Arsenio Hall show.

But please do not post any material from his shows that contains profanity, since that would violate forum rules.

I'll leave it open, but the first link to a clip containing bad language means it's closed, and the poster, who is hereby warned, will get some downtime from the forum.

So be careful, please.

Regards,
Fred

In the UK, we had Ringo narrating Thomas. I did hear George doing it when I visited my neices and nephews in the US. It was a very diferent experience. Not better or worse. Just different.

PS Hi Trains. Haven't seen you around much recently.

Well Ringo kept the same voice really. George on the other hand, kept changing his voice all the time. Each character sounded different. That's why he sounded different to you.

Hi Terry :) I've been movie making, see? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yfs90pfAhFY&feature=PlayList&p=5D412A8F34829742&index=15
