Title: Best Rendering Software?
Post by: IRI5HJ4CK on February 07, 2009, 16:08:53
Hi guys,

I hope this is in the right place, but, what I wanted to ask was, what, in your opinion, is the best piece of software for rendering. I wouldn't mind spending a few "coppers" out of my pocket to get something good that will do the job :) If its possable, I'd like the software to be easy to use, since I'm not great with stuff like this :D

ShipAddict recommended Kerkythea, he used that software to make the renders of Monarch (my project) for me, Would you advise me to try that out? is it a safe/good site?

Thanks!
Jack.

You can see my rendering tutorial in the Development corner. It uses Esperient which does a pretty damn good job on the model.

Is Esperient a good safe piece of software?

Thanks,

Dunno - worked fine for me though.

You can always give me your model so I can render it if you are not positive - here is the link anyway

http://www.esperient.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=112&Itemid=54

Tutorial for rendering is found here:

This is the outcome:

Esperient!

You decide. Jensen told you to look at the topic in his sig to see the outcome of his rendering pogram - I have posted Esperient Results here, look at the pic. So you can decide.

There is no reason that you cannot have both

Yes, Kerky works very well :)

Of course its a safe site, if it wasn't i'd probably have a load of viruses by now :)
