Hi I'm doing a school project about hydrogen. So I was thinking to make a 3d animation, so I downloaded 3ds Max trial. Since I have been working with Gmax for a while, I know some of the features in 3ds Max. I wan't to make a object like the one in the link http://www.rkm.com.au/HYDROGEN/hydrogen-images/HYDROGEN-molecules.jpg, but I can't get that shiny effect, so any help would be appreciated.

Well, I use blender and that is a little bit like 3ds. I dont know if you have this in the materials tab but look for Ray Mirror or Reflectiveness. Turn that kind of stuff up. ;)
