Title: Stolen License?

Hello!

I have had SS08 for around a year now, and really enjoys it!
I was looking on shipsim.com and noticed the free jumbo javelin.
Then i was going to add my serial in the profile at this forum as the instructions said, but then..
"This key is used by another user" or something like that pops up..

I have a legaly SS08 bought in Norway, and i havent shared my serial with no one, except innstalled it on my second pc..

What shall i do?  ???  :(

I think it is against the EULA (or something like that) to install the same disc on multiple computers. If you have registered the same key for the 2nd computer, that may be the problem.

Welcome to the forum Captein Holberg. As someone said it's against the EULA to install the same copy of Ship simulator on two pc, but if you use the other pc to run multiplayer servers it's alright to have it on two pc's, but besides that you can only have it installed on one pc

Hi Captein Holberg.

It is a good idea to register your serial key on the forum as soon as you get it. Someone else may get that same key by illegal means and register it before you get around to doing so.

If you had already registered your SS 2008 key, you should not have needed to enter it again for JJ.

Entering the key into the simulator, in order to run it, is not related to registering it in a way that would prevent you from registering the key on the forum.

I have not registrated the key anywhere...so.
But cant anyone of the staff se what forum member that have registarted MY key?

Hey!

It all worked out now :)
I registrated this profile for the 2006 version to get my points to the ranking, and then i registrated the profile i used to start the topic, cause it didnt think that my last profile also was a forum profile..
So i will use this profile from now on.
I am really sorry for the trouble i made  :-[
