Nice graphic card you have there. Also, never perform the anchor trick on MP when someone is sailing near you  ;)
Actually my graphics card sucks.

I think he was probably joking....

Anyway, the game's default method sinks more realistically.

Uhm...

Firestar, I don't really see how this is a valuable topic to be honest..

It's not really that realistic. RMSG is right here. And your screenshots are ugly. Not your fault, but obviously your card isn't capable of running the game properly. Hence the milk instead of water..

I don't think this sinking thing is much use to anyone.. It only promotes the wrong way of playing if you ask me.

But it is the media board, and these are screenshots.. So you can have it.. though I'd prefer it if people would stop proudly showing how they sink ships. That's not what VSTEP intended at all.. :-\

why not?
Because you might flip onto someone and sink them ;)

Exactly. Can we just stick to regular sinking please? No offence intended, of course.

I actually don't enjoy to see my vessel sink, because that tells me I have done something wrong. I haven't sunken a vessel yet, and I intend to keep it that way. I like to pilot my vessel with no wrong steps.

The point of a simulation is to put yourself in the position of the real job or activity. In ship simulator, you would be the captain of a ship. How many captains do you see out there trying to sink their ships and see how the best way to do it is? I can't recall any, but please post if you can name one or more.

Did you really need to say that, three months later? I don't see that you were adding anything to the convrsation, really. (Note the FAQs about doing this with old threads, please)
