To be honest I dont know. But, The Shipdriver controller is a very cheaply made thing and probably breaks really easily.

If you look on the ShipSim Pro page on the main site, they have a very cool looking monitor with wheel and controls. Not sure where it comes from, or even how much it is really..

I'm sitting here in front of my Raildriver and I am also frowning apon your post. >:(  The RailDriver is the most sturdy and best built controllers I have ever used.  That is why they are so expensive.  Although it is not out yet I would greatly recommend it and the rail driver.  If you want to wait I'll buy it when it comes out and give you a review. :-\

The RailDriver Costs 170 US Dollars and weighs as much as a large Cat (13.5 Pounds) doen't sound "Flimsy" to me >:(

Then it must be a real giant who is holding the steering wheel with hands sized like a coalshuffle

I must admit, it does look really very tacky and small in the photos :-\

Alright the ship wheel thing doesn't really look as good as the Rail version but I do have faith in the manufacturer.  And to Fire Star:  No Worries, No Offense taken. ;)

Well, I do agree llamalord, that the Rail Driver does look very nice, I was considering buying it for Trainz Raliwayz, but, never did. And the Ship Driver, does look very tacky and the wheel is pretty small, but if you buy it and give me a review on how it works with SS08 then I would probably buy it.

..only if the review was positive though?

Its just that blue on shipdriver that ruins it for me. Maybe more like a hot pink or magenta. (jk)

Believe it or not, i use an Xbox 360 Controller with a USB Connector at the end....search for it on Ebay, they work great - only trouble is, walkthrough mode isn't possible with it, not sure that's a problem with other controllers.

If it wasn't 300 and some odd dollars I would suggest this... http://www.wilcopub.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=prod_scu (http://www.wilcopub.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=prod_scu) It even has has the V-STEP Font. ;)

Eep 362 dollars

Well, I have a problem with those kinds of rudder controllers, some day I am going to get some sort of medium sized boat and customize the wheel with a big wheel with spokes all around :P Love those.
