-
enjoy it. Why didn't you buy me one? Im still stuck here with the ship moving an inch per minuite

Set the throttle to 100% instead of 1%, that also fixes the problem.

Haha, talking about operating systems and such, I found an OLD tiny laptop with Windows 95 I think it was, had about 500 Mb Total memory, wich the OS took only about 40 Mb (Vista takes 50GB) and had like, lol I forget how little RAM it had.
-
I fixed up an old Mac (Don't like Macs!) for a friend of mine that was about that old. Thing looked like it had been through a war... :P
-
So what kick-bleep graphics card did you get, Kona..? ;D
-
The proper term it Gweeping! :o :D

I have had no complaints about it, fans a tiny bit loud, but I bought a big fan to keep computer running smoother, so, its already a little loud because I always have fan on high :P And I music loud anyway.
Off topic : Also, if anyone is looking for new speakers, try these -

One on monitor, if flat screen, two on the sides and two in back, SubWoofer on bottom, works great, if you plug them in right and arrange them right then yay surround sound. Also has a little controller with headphone jack and a matrix button to turn off all but two speakers, when on you get the surround sound. and an off/on for the whole system and a level nob.
(How do you turn volume up and down without a control button like those speakers come with? I have had a gaming keyboard so long I forget...lol)
PS, Tiger Direct is awesome for all Electronic purchases, always discounts :)

I have two Geforce 9800 GT (SLI) they work perfect!
-
Well of course they work perfect! Its the latest video card technoligy.
-
I think the latest one from Nvidia is a GTX280. Wonder how that copes with Shipsim...
-
Its either that SS runs so smooth because it is the latest, or it runs really choppy because it is too good for SS ;D.
-

Reliability, a PC would never last that long. :p
-
A PC not lasting 6 years? I beg to differ.
-
I still have my original NT4 server running at work. I built it myself when NT4 was first released. So it must be 14-15 years old now.
It hasn't needed rebooting for years. It chugs along very happily, logging people into our domain and generally controlling access to resources around our network (which spans five continents).
-
enjoy it. Why didn't you buy me one? Im still stuck here with the ship moving an inch per minuite
My graphics card is rubbish and my ship is slow too! The masts, funnels and mooring boulders are missing off titanic :'(
