Title: Wondering about peoples backgrounds i am going for OOW

Hi guys ill start i am currently at University  doing a marine studies degree and hopefully going for my OOW at the end of this course

I was just wondering about other peoples backgrounds and whether anyone has got advice for me from current or ex deck officers ?

This may seem like a stupid question because I'm sure it's crystal clear in your mind but,

Do you mean computer Desktop background or life background? :-\
