Title: Too anyone who likes the SS Norway (AKA SS France)

Anyone interested in the SS Norway (AKA SS France) might be interested in this sight. It gives a pretty good history of the ship and has pictures of how she looks now at a scrapyard. It's very sad to see such a beutiful ship in that state but I suppose all good things must come to an end though.  :-\ Here's the link: http://maritimematters.com/norway.html

Thanks for that MrFlappy. It will be sad to see her go, although she was really ugly after her second refit durin her period as Norway. The SS France will die a painful death, while it looks like QE2, her rival, wont.

All I know is that she's going to be scrapped, apparently right NOW.  Poor SS France, she had enough trouble with the jets and now this...?

Im sure wed all love that. But please do her before her second refit when they added those 2 extra decks, that ruined the look all toghether.
