Hi Fred.
This isn't really a technical support issue, so I'll move it to smal talk.
http://www.shipsim.com/ShipSimForum/index.php/topic,11578.0.html says
Technical Support – for asking for help if you have problems with your Ship Simulator installation. Please note that
...
this is not the place to ask questions about the best PC you can buy nor which is the best graphics card and so on. Please use “Small Talk†for those questions.
Once I've moved it there, I'll give you a response.
See you shortly....[/list]

Hi Fred.
OK, your processor looks good enough.
Plenty of RAM
I'm not familiar with that card. ATI cards do seem to cause the most problems, I've found. Perhaps someone else is familiar with this one?
Don't know if you have adequate hard disk, paging file and so on, of course.

Thank you for your answer, I dont either know wich type harddisk it is, i havent bought the computer yet. Anyway, if the ATI Card causes probems, i will buy a nVidea GeForce 8800GTS card. The only thing i know about my Harddisk is that it has 640GB Space.
Regards,
Fred.

your ATI card is good enough, but all say the geforse card is the best, i run readon hd 3870 /512 mb no problem now, the last drivers are now good

The 88000 card should be excellent. I use an 8800 GTX on one PC and an 8600 on another. Both work wonderfully well with Ship Simulator.
