I asked my mom if I could buy the download version with my birthday money and I went upstairs and she had her credit card out...
Took 40 minutes to download and install but it is great.
I have both SS06 (boxed) and SS08 now...
Compared to SS06 it is great.
There are the few bugs but non major the only ones I have found is you randomly sink...
Can't wait for Multiplayer patch to come out and ship editor.

I have the game now for more than 1 year,and i still love to play it.
Ofcourse the 2008-version is alot better,because of all the new features like waves/weather and day of time.
Also the vessels are more detailed.
Good luck with the game,and i hope i'll enjoy it the way i do.

Red Jet 4 is by far my favorite boat, just put 2 holes in it when trying to moor at the solvent, I have had SS06 for about 4 months and it was getting boring.
