Ahoy all,
I don’t think this really belongs in ‘Technical Issues,’ since it owes simply to a small design flaw – but a funny thing happened to me this morning while checking out the Agile Solution.
I fell through the bottom of the ship (in Walk-Around view/mode) – and wound up in the water – out in the Med.
Just as if fallen overboard, there I was bobbing up and down on the waves, adrift on the current, helplessly watching the ship slowly ‘drift away’ (perspective illusion, the ship wasn’t moving, I was) – until it was just a speck on the horizon, and then ultimately gone from view completely.
..Tapped the ‘0’ key to re-set the view and was back on Bridge – but it was quite humorous.
While it was an attempt at some agility on the fore deck, I don’t think it was a very agile solution …
I had no idea we could ‘fall overboard!’ I was as surprised as I was eventually quite amused …

Yeah, its quite common on a few ships ;)
For instance, if you run into the bridge wings of Ocean Star and keep running, you will fall out of the bridge wing, and the same thing will happen that happened to you ;)

It is possible on Ocean Star as well, I seem to recall. Can't remember how I did it, but I watched the ship sail off into the distance. Quite spooky.

:) That is amusing…
Fortunately, a very easy ‘fix’ with tapping the ‘0’ key …
But yes, it is rather ‘spooky!’

sorry for bumping this "old" topic but i had the same "problem" and i got quite a chock when it happened ;D
good thing i dont have a bad heart or i might have ended up in hospital hehe :P

The bad boy in me tries to leap over the side of all sorts of vessels. Not always possible, though (so far).

Terry has taken to that after a rather humiliating attempt to leap tall buildings.

On a good day I have been able to leap small molehills in a single bound (or two).

Yeh that happens sometimes. It happens on the bow of titanic aswell, usually if you go right near the very front on port side you will fall overboard.

Thank god there was a walkway next to your vessil in Chichester Harbour Terry! hehe
Yep been overboard as well, made me laugh pretty hard the first time as well!
