Hello!!!Obam 4-0 Obama wins
-
Obama I hope
-
Obama, we find out tonight. We are throwing a party. No Offence but Mc Cain stated he does not know how to use a computer. He is so old he will probably die of natural causes before his term is up.
I think when all the racist's see that Obama got elected they will see that the color of your skin doesn't matter. And the people that are saying Obama Osama, yeah well he didn't get to pick his name.
I think we need something different. I was really hoping an African American Spambot, but that would be pushing it fast wouldn't it. :p
I just hope people don't go to vote and then say, do I really want a black man running our country?
I guess I don't see the point in sexism or racism...
I believe this will be the first time I have stayed up all night with my parents. And no one at my school is going to school tomorrow if Mc Cain is elected.
-
Obama will WIN!
-
McCain is showing his age i think http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=QnE-YJ---GI&feature=related
-
I hope Obama wins. It's time for some changes, even though politics (or anything else for that matter) should not be based on skin color. But alas, part of it is.
-
Dont know if anyones seen this http://www.peteyandpetunia.com/VoteHere/VoteHere.htm (http://www.peteyandpetunia.com/VoteHere/VoteHere.htm)
-
i would vote for Obama, McCain is another bush and thats the last thing this country needs.
-
I agree with you fred. Nothing should be based on color. He is obviously smarter then you anyway since he made it this far...
I will be able to vote in the next presidential election. :)
-
lol i'm thinking huh?? but i forgot its 4 years from now, same, i'll be able to vote aswell :)
-
My wife submitted her postal vote some time ago (although we live in the UK, we have a home in Florida as well, so she is entitled to vote, being American. I'm not, because I'm English).
Who did she vote for?
She definitely voted for [internet connection broken]
-
What's going to happen is that Obama is going to win the general election and then about two weeks later the electoral collage will vote and overwrite us and Mc Cain will become the next president and then there will be riots in the streets and America will fall apart at the seems.
;D

Sounds FUN!
-
Ah, but if you go more than ten days without being able to elect your own president, the lease expires (competency clause) and England owns America once more.
-
Umm... :-\
-
The next President in USA
Congratulation Obama you are the best for US and the rest of the world

Ok guys. Don't get exited. THe votes have not even been counted yet. But we project Obama is winner. We won't know for sure for another few hours.
-
Obama won, which I'm kinda not happy about cos he annoys me, all I ever hear on tele is change change change, I'd be happier if george bush stayed president i think obamas gonna be bored after hes changed everything :P
-
Bush is worse then both of them.
-
Seems like those campaigns were all about change, right?

whooo, obama won ;D

You must feel a little bit sad for McCain though. :-\

-
nah, I think if he won he would get a hearth attack, because of all the exitement
-
Congratulations to all you Americans who voted for your new President elect. ;D
-
Yes, congrads to the United States for their new President.
-
I just found out Mc Cain has cancer also...
-
No, he survived cancer. Most people who seem to believe he would've died in his first term in office, always forget one thing. Bearing in mind he's 72, his MOTHER is still alive (aged 96), and was campaigning for him in recent months!
I honestly liked John McCain, he came across well without being too religious, or too right-wing. But I honestly believe people will start to love America again now because of this. Obama has a HUGE amount of expectations on his shoulders, but I really do think he's up for the job. :)
-
I am just saddened by the turn of events :'(
Obama will just run this country into the ground
Anyone that lives in Michigan would know that
anyone like Granholm(gov. of Michigan, who is like Obama)
should not be running this country in this time of economic need.
Obama is going to take away our guns, because it worked so well for Cuba,
it should work well for the U.S. (sarcasm) ;D
I'm not saying McCain would do any better (which he probaly would anyway)
I just hope America won't do as bad as some say it will under (maybe)future president Barack Obama
This has been a post from
The only republican in Ship Simulator.
-
haha :D
-
Hmm that's not how I understood him in his interviews to be honest.
As far as I know/have heard and read, Obama isn't against guns, he thinks everyone should have a gun in their house, he's pro death penalty, and even thinks rapists should be shot. Any republican should like that, right? He's not the leftwing softy McCain's campaign team made you believe, I think.
And well.. guns.. can you really be trusted with them anyway.. if you're really honest? Considering the number of gun related deaths and compared to those of all other countries, I think not. (For example, even if you look at Michael Moore's 'Bowling for Columbine' with a sceptic mind, it's still very alarming!)
I think their is a global issue aswell here. Obama seems to be willing to open up all kinds of dialogues, on environmental and financial issues, whereas Bush only alienated the rest of the world, made some 'new' enemies along the way and lost some friends and showed that the US had no interest in the environmental issues by his unwillingness to sign the 'Coyote thing' (his words). This is important for all of us, not just you guys in the USA.
McCain would have probably ruled more for the party, as did Bush. And as such "Another Bush" is partly correct, I think, when they kept looking at him as such. Which would have meant that more money would have gone to corrupt crooked rich folks, and less to the people who need it so badly at this moment. And we all know how that way of governing turned out don't we,... You needed another digit on the 'national debt' board, because it wouldn't fit anymore.. Hellooo! And yet the 'fat men behind the scenes' got richer and richer. Logically, since the US is such a big part of the global economy, the current crisis is partly due to all this. ::)
Now no one will just fix what has been caused in the last 8 years. He's not a wizard or something. It will probably get a lot worse, but that's not going to be his fault, that'll still be due to what Bush has unleashed, in my humble opinion. But I think the better candidate (for the rest of the world aswell) has won.
Ah well... that's how I look at it anyway. :)
Regards,
Fred

Any republican should like that, right?
Which is all the more surprising, since he's a Democrat...
Me, I think we should have the death penalty for:
Any cruelty to animals
Asking how to create gigantic waves in Ship Simulator
Failing to salute as I go past
Parking in my space at work
Wearing blue shoes and carrying a red clipboard
Starting any more topics about Titanic
Talking back to moderators
Failing to kneel when I am in the area
Being a double-glazing salesman
-
with that coming trough I would have many death penaltys, sorry terry, but you wouldn't get my vote
-
Obama seems a good fellow..
He will soon realize what he's let himself into..
-

lol terry, i wouldn't be dead yet, you haven't been near me ;D
-
you have to amit McCain's speech was good and obama can not change anything if congress dosent make universel heath care bill or anything else
-

Yep my point exactly.
So even though he shares a common 'goal' with the competition, the competition does not embrace this, but actually denies it, so that they have something else to attack.
I thought the greater good would always be more important, to get things done together, but in this game, such logic does of course not apply.

Well were silly americans remember.
:)
-
Heh... nah I think that it is a universal thing, cause politicians everywhere seem to lack logic. ;D
-
finally we have a black president. now its fair to both colors.
-
now its fair to both colors.
So what about Brown, Red and Yellow?
Seriously.. I wish it was that simple. This is a new page in the History books, but things are far from fair yet. And the mindset of certain layers of the population will not change just like that.
Fear and/or aversion or even hatred towards those that are different (no matter how) is a primal instinct, I think. Meant to protect one's group against other groups, so to speak, from the time when we lived in rival groups, before civilisation. After all we are social animals, but that was never 'meant' to mean that we would all become on big group. There will always be some form of discrimination, somewhere, for some reason. Because this instinct is not going to go away anytime soon. Everyone has at one point discriminated against something or someone, remember it's not just color, it can be many things. Even as a bad joke, or in an innocent way, some stereotype thing to say, perhaps. It doesn't make one a racist per say, it's just human. Well that's my theory anyway.
Like a white guy that I saw on TV yesterday, who was defending Obama and said "I think Obama got critized too much in the media, and I think that it has to do with his skin color. If he was just a normal white guy, this would not have been the case!" (loose translation of course)
"normal white guy"? As opposed to those abnormal black people? See, he meant well, but somehow subconsiously there is a difference between white and black to him. ::)
-
There is a great future for the USA.

Or maybe he meant as opposed to an abnormal white guy 8)
