It is the famous SS "Rotterdam" - layed up in Rotterdam after a massive restauration, which happened in Wilhelmshaven/Germany. Now she gonna serve as Hotel and Exhibition vessel on her final berth.

Yes and no - you can tow it, but it seems to be not a real pleasure (very slow...), but there are no plans to make her a player ship. :'( Well, and you must have the Dutch version to get her anyway... ;)

I must say, as a tug fan, I'm a bit p***ed off that different locales are getting extra content. It took years for console-games to stop doing this, I just wish that PC games would catch up.

I agree. Even though VSTEP are dutch, They should have no extra privileges. They are no better than we, We are no better than them.

I doubt it is about where we all come from. The SS Rotterdam is a famous Dutch ship, and the game will appeal more to Dutch buyers if that ship is included. I'm not saying that there aren't any, but there will no doubt be less of a British/American etc. audience intersted in that ship.

They don’t have extra privileges because they are Dutch. They have extra privileges because they are VSTEP.
It’s their product. They can choose what ships to include. No one else has any say in the matter, as it should be.

Well, We can just buy the dutch version then.

That’s the point, it is a commemorative edition for people who have pride in that ship and their country’s standing as a maritime nation.
