Title: RNLI Tamar Class lifeboat!
Post by: KPD on July 19, 2007, 00:17:08
My apologies if this is not the right forum for requests...

I was wondering if any of you 3D modelers would like to work on a RNLI Tamar Class lifeboat (http://www.rnli.org.uk/who_we_are/boats_and_stations/lifeboats/current_lifeboats/lifeboat_detail?articleid=44216) for SS2008. I would be more than happy to do the texturing and 2D design, but I'm afraid I have zero 3D design knowledge! I've been involved in Flight Simulator texture/FDE design since 1998 and have worked with a couple of payware/freeware groups before. I'm a rookie Ship Simmer, though.

Obvisouly, I'd rather start this whole thing as a freeware project (if anyone else is up for it, of course!).  But I wouldn't mind working on a reasonably priced payware either!

That's about it, really. If you're interested, please reply.

I believe Severn is the heaviest one (41 Tons). Tamar is the most advanced one and was introduced just two years ago (in service since 2006).

I wound't mind painting the whole series, to be honest It all deppends if a 3D modeller accepts the offer!
