Hi I was wondering what kind of internet people use, I use Safari and Firefox, what do you use?
Btw how many internets are there?
-
I think you mean how many different browsers are there. I use internet explorer
-
Yes that's right, browsers, any idea how many there are, I think Safari is the fastest browser

thanks

What I've learned the Safari is the slowest and the new "the google-one" is the fastest browser, (chrome or something like that). Personally I'm typing here with FF 3.0.1 with internet connection of 8/1 megabits. (in/out).
-
Personally I'm typing on Internet Explorer 7 with an internet connection of 490kbps download and about 200kbps upload
-
For me Safari is the best and google chrome really sucks.

I had Opera for a while and I liked it. It has a cool voice command thing and on load up it has large thumbnails of web pages you can choose. So when you load it up you can just click to go to google, yahoo, this web page etc. In fact, I'm going to download it now. Plus its quick
[Edit] I'm typing this edit on Opera 9.6 beta
-
I read somewhere that Opera is the slowest web browser
-
Well to be honest i can't really see how the internet browser will affect it much, if you've got slow internet the browser alone isn't going to get you to things that much faster. It may be slower but I can't really tell
I like it so I use it, you may like something else, it's all personal preference I suppose
-
It does make a difference on which browser you use I used to use Internet explorer, but now I use Safari and it is much faster.

Hi.
I use IE7. Wokrs very fast, but as you might expect, I took a lot of time making sure it was set up the best way to match my usage.
I won't touch Chrome as it is very bugy and has major security flaws, judging from some of the reviews I've received. Also it uses a HUGE amount of memory when running. More than XP itself, apparently.
FF is OK, but I'm not planning to swap from IE. Nothing in FF tempts me to do that. I keep it for compatability checks on my sites.
-
Apparently Opera uses very little memory, is that right?
-
I use Firefox because it was much faster on my old, rubbish PC. So with this one (my new one, not new anymore!), I just switched back to it.
-
I use Firefox.. ;D

Firefox all the way! ;) :D :D :)
