There will probably be some more patches that fix bugs in the game but I don't know about any other free stuff coming out in patches.

I will probably release a Rotterdam set of radio sounds, and may release a set of horn sounds for people with "PC Quality" speakers. Probably towards mid to late November.

On the creators Forum, we have a modified version Red Eagle that can access Portsmouth Harbour and get to Gosport and Fareham, etc. Just as in real life.

We're working on some other vessels as well.

When you say PC quailty, do you mean rubbish?

No, just that the horn packs I made were not engineered for smaller speakers. As a result, a lot of the sound energy is silent on small speakers, while it makes the house shake with big systems.

So, I'm working on a re-engineered set of sounds for smaller speakers. They'll give good results.

Okey dokey.

Sorry but I've never tried the red eagle in portsmouth, is it not deep enough at the moment or is there another problem stopping it?

If you use the existing version, you will run aground as you cross the entrance. You might just slide across the mud to Spinnaker Tower, but chances are, you'll get too much damge and sink (less than an inch, but game over).

The updated version works fine.

In 1.3 the hovercraft and jetski were released I think he is wondering if that will happen again for other vessels.

Yeah, I figured that. I just wasn't sure which "new patch" he was talking about.

Probably the invisible mesh on the hull of the ship was lifted so it can fit.

Sort of. And a load of other stuff. You can't change any one characteristic without upsetting twenty others. It all needs very careful calculation an dtesting.

It looks as it always did, but behaves differently in shallow waters.

More realisticly[?] i hope.
