Im sick of sweaty hands, on keyboard, mouse, Flute (Soon to be Trumpet) Please help.
-
Your probably nervous. I get sweaty hands when playing rock band. And when I am working and know I could kill someone if I moved the wrong joystick the wrong way. I usually just run FREEZING COLD water over them before I do something. Doesn't bother me as much at work since I do wear gloves. Trumpets are nice for sweaty hands, very little of your hand is actually on the trumpet. Your left hand wraps around the valves a little but not much.
(Remember to empty your spit valves daily on your trumpet.) :)

I did for 2 years. :)
Keep your valves nice and oiled up also or they will get stuck. :)
P.S. Someone finally calls me by the proper name. Unlike terry A|A.

Not really, you only have three valves. You rarely touch any other moving part after the first time.
You should be able to pull the valves out by un screwing the cap under the thing that you push down on. And it should slide all the way out just apply the oil to the outside of what comes out. that way it slides better.
Let me get a image for you

So austin, Only on the part with the holes? Or also on the silver part under the valve buttons?
-
The part under the valve button (The Bronze part?) You can oil the spring inside by putting the nozzle of the oil in that little hole at the top and put a couple drips in but it rarely needs it. And when you put the valve back in twist the button clockwise untill it clicks. So that it lines up again. :)

I will, I just have to find my trumpet. It will need oil anyway since I haven't used it in at least a year.
