I have been considering buying SS08, 2 months ago, on the release of the shipyard, I saw a ''new'' [Old re-release] vessels.
So I waited the one month out to see what the next lot of ''new'' content would be, but nothing was uploaded. Finally today, 2mths down the track, they upload again, old re-release vessels, that they could have released the day after the first lot.
I actually laughed. I predicted this. I knew they would be late, and not deliver what they promise. Let me guess. 5 months from now when they deliver the next lot of content that should be due next month, they will upload the port of rotterdam? maybe the water taxi?
Hahhahahhaha...
I was thinking of getting ss09 next year.. but I think I'll pass.. it's not worth it I don't think

I think they put Agile up because she might be quiet popular like OS ;)

I don't think it's funny....put a bit of thought into it and respect VSTEP for all the hard work they put into it.

Why would they wan't to release a envirement and a boat that already are in SS08? And no it's not funny, Vstep have made a great job with the shipyard

Practicing patience can be a hard task! But I rather sit here until my hair becomes grey, waiting for the new stuff to come!

I don't see how it takes them one month to release something that they've already made, and then be overdue, an extra month.
And it does say ''New environments, ships, and features'' so far we have seen none of these.
I don't really care but. I'm not buying their product its [foul-mouthed swear word removed by Terry] anyway. [illegal actions removed]:P

They didn't already make elbe, you know, it takes really long time to develement a so detailed ship like elbe, I think you expect far to much from them

They did, they released it, and the Furie last year.
It does not take two months to develop 0 medium/high quality vessels. If they decided to actually make a ship for once, then it may take them a few months [if they remember how to use the modeling program it's been that long since they've used it.]
But for a normal professional 3D artist, one month is all it should take. And thats max.

What I think is funny, is that anyone would pay attention the uninformed opinions of someone who has no idea of what is truly involved in integrating a model into SS, and is not even a user of SS 2008.
What is pitiful is the arrogance, or naiveté, of the “I want what I want when I want it, and I want it now†crowd, who think that their whining will cause VSTEP to change their business model, or will spur them to greater productivity.
