Title: Connecting barges to the Atlas

Can anybody explane to me how to connect barges to the Atlas and specially during the game as a waypoint. I can't find it in the mission editor manuel.

it is the simbel for contecting the barge you make a line between the two

Hi Jacob,
To hook Atlas to a barge, you do as you would to attach a towline except that you click the Barge icon in the lower right corner of the screen instead of the Towline icon. The Barge icon is below the Anchor icon.
Make sure that Atlas is lined up with the barge and up against it. The barge attachment circles are cyan (light blue).
To attach Atlas to a barge in the Mission Editor, you also do as you would for a towline except that you check the Barge box instead of the Towline box.

In the Mission Editor, you use the Towing waypoint for barge hookup as well as for hawser tows.

I’ve not updated it to cover barges, but the above information explains it.

Thank you for the reply. What I ment was the way I have to use the "barge" option in the Moorage and Transfer menu. I have red somewhere that this option was specially made for the pushing unit to connect barges. This option is not explained in the manuel.
I understand very well how it works in the game but not how I can make a mission with barges and the Atlas.

Hi Jacob,
As I said in the previous post, to connect Atlas & barge in the Editor, you use the [Moorage & Transfer] panel as described in the Mission Editor Tutorial for hooking a tow, except that you check the Barge box instead of the Towline box. The tutorial PDF describes things in greater detail than the Manual.
