Downloading what?

You can already buy and download the main simulator and the patches when they become available.

But the speed is slow, especially the main simulator.  Maybe this will increase the download speed.

Hiya :)

Download speed can depend on a number of factors:

Distance from the server
Your Internet connection
Time of day/night (peak hours are very busy in the UK for example, 6pm-11pm)
The server you are downloading from

1, or even ALL of these factors can seriously affect what speed you obtain from any server, anywhere in the world.

I don't KNOW, but I will GUESS they are in the Nederlands somewhere... as for how many? No idea.

I doubt for security reasons Vstep will be divulging anything more accurate than that, but I may be wrong.

Well, do not forget it is a lot of megabytes you are downloading. Í have downloaded the game and I thought the downloading went quite quick :-\

Try one of the mirror servers.

We have two main download servers, both located in the US.

We have not had any complaints about the download speed since our last upgrade in April of this year.
They are now connected to two 2Gbit connections.

I do not think BT servers are very suitable for legally purchased downloads. We do not want to urge our customers to keep sharing their purchased game.

Bit Torrent has its uses, it's my preferred method of getting hold of Linux and America's Army.  ;)

Indeed, I know many people that use BT for all kinds of 'Legal' downloads, I am just very fussy about what I install on my PC....in fact I'm very fussy about a lot of things (in case you hadn't noticed ;))
