Stuck at license check (steam)
« on: February 07, 2014, 07:16:03 »

Hi,

I bought SSE from bundlestars.com yesterday. The problem is the key provided by steam client has 6 parts, but the license check dialogue has 5 input boxes. I tried entering the last 5 segments and regrouping them into 5 segments without success.

Any advice?

I've received many reports of this issue at customer support suddenly. There appears to be some glitch within Steam's license distribution for ShipSim Extremes. Users are receiving faulty formatted license keys. (such as SHIP-3c4g-12be-123d-abc3-8a9b). These formats are not recognised by any ShipSim game.
Vstep is currently in contact with Steam and we hope to have this issue fixed as soon as possible.

Well, that's what I suspected, so I didn't join the "bombardment" of customer support. ;) Hope this thread saves some vstep resources for resolving the issue.
