Nice find. And nice model. But it's not really THAT detailed though. Not like the SS ships as such.

i wish we could add that to Ship Sim by buying it from the shipyard.

That would be nice.. but even IF the model was suitable to be converted into SS08, and IF they (vstep) would want it in, it would still be a whole lot of work, months at least, to get it ready.

The model itself is just the tip of the iceberg.

But yeah,  I would like that aswell.  ;D

i'm willing to wait as long as it takes to get her into SS08.

Me too, and that's probably the wisest thing to do, as "as long as it takes" is usually exactly how long it takes indeed.   ;D

Now for the part no ones thought about. The owners of the ship probably wouldnt let it in the game. The ships design is copyrighted.

but we can buy it for $160.

I think they would say its fine to put it in the game because its only going to help their buisness, isn't it?

I think VSTEP would rather make their won cruise ship than spend time gathering details and paying to use a Cunard ship - it would be nice, but i'm very happy with the OS.

Very nice model indeed ! Hey, Fred, C'm'on, This model seems to be far more detailed as Ocean Star model in ShipSim ! Might even be too much detailed !!

Yeah, would be a dream too have the QM2 in Ship Sim. But, hey, as NathanC said, Ocean Star is already present, and she's a pleasure to steer !

I think it's a little square - the 2nd one trains posted looked a little more SS quality.

Hey Denis,

Well yes, I agree with the ones he posted in his second post. But that first one looks way too sketchup-ish to me.  ;D
The other ones he posted are way better

THE QM2 models on the three sites you provided us, trains, I don't think they reach up to standards... sorry

And what exactly do you think these unmet standards are? :-\

Hi, Supreme Emperor of the cameloid beasts!

Now you must give Microsoft some credit here. He has obviously been studying this for the past two and a half months before coming to this decision.

Why else would he post his opinion in a thread that has been dead for that long, and risk being considered to be breaking Forum rules?
