Hi captain best,
Some of the shots at sea were very good, it looked very atmospheric. The sound leaves a bit to be desired though. You could hear a diesel engine going in the background? (Not your fault I know). I worked on an old paddle steamer in the 1967/8/9 and all you could hear then was the sea.
I was a bit disappointed to see you drop the anchor to slow down and nearly turn her over.  ;D

Overall, I enjoyed the movie and look forward to your next one.

Regards, Dave

Yes Dave but was the Furie the paddle steamer you worked on? You cant just compare two different ships like that.

Hi firestar12,
I'm not comparing ships, I'm comparing the sounds that you would hear on the deck of a steam driven vessel and the sounds you would hear on ships with a more modern propulsion unit.

OK, they might have a deisel generator for the electrical side of things but I would doubt that for a vessel with the small electrical power needs of a tug. The winches and capstans and so on would be driven by steam.
