Then why post...??   ::)

 ;)

Gloat, have you had your trial period with pro yet? You can use the trial for 30 days, including the export function. Just a thought. Wouldn't work if you allready tried it for 30 days though.

Isn’t “Sketchup Pro’s” an oxymoron?

Well Marty.. not anymore I think..

I used to think so too, but if the tools are used correctly, it can produce pro results..

Actually, the extreme user friendliness of the program, means that almost anyone can model, and almost anyone also does.. and then shows their work to almost everyone else.. and so the majority of what we see is not that good, since obviously, not just anyone can have that kind of talent that we see in only a few of them.  :)

Look at this for example;

Not bad for sketchup, I'd say.  ;D

Yep, really! ....would I lie?  ;D

I'd suggest (if you are not quite ready with a vessel) to wait to the last moment, and then use the trial version.. since it's limited to 30 days.. if it all works out right away with your vessel, then you still have 29 days for the next ship. And once you get a ship into VS, you probably want to make more.. and more.. and more..   ;D

yea as fred said, get the trial version, export your model and make as many as you can to get the most usage out of the trial. ;)
