I'm waiting also, but I heard somewhere (I forget where) that Ship Simulator 2008 will be release earlier then September in Australia and other countires, No fooling!

No, Lighthouse, that's not true, no contracts have been signed yet, some-one said possible end of july, early August, but that was the soonest possible chance, which has nearly past, I say, expect end August, early September.

If you look on the main website, vstep is shipping the boxed version from 15th July. You can pre-order it now.

Will be quicker than waiting to buy it in a shop in Australia.

If that doesn't work, I'll bring a copy to Australia when I go on holiday.

Hey, I could become an exporter of software...

Personally (being an impatient type) I would just download it anyway. Vstep have made a PDF file of the inlay available, so you can still get a nice box

$86??Are you sure?I converted the 36.99 from Euro's into Canadian dollars for myself and it only came to about $59 or somewhere in there.I'm still going to wait for the boxed version though.

Got mine from play.com it's a very good price,plus tim pre-ordered as well.

Must also say thank's to shipsim for a great game well worth the long wait and
can only get better.Did have to upgrade my graphic card and the power supply,
also got pc world in the uk to upgrade it as myself would not have a clue.Good
job tim did as would have never thought about the power supply.

Ps My old card was gelforce fx5600 but could not fit a 7900 card as would not fit
my motherboard due to the fixing.
But the one that would fit is a NVIDIA Gelforce 7800 GS 256mb memory,works OK.

I bought the download version. I live in the US though so the conversation only made it about $40.

If you don't have the system requirements I would wait for it to come out in stores so if it dosn't work you can return it. Unless VSTEP has a return policy?

It is available as a boxed version in some countries, but not all.

If you can't run it it is extremely unlikely that the retailer will accept it back. Obviously, some people will make ilegal copies. If you find a retailer offering refunds, I'm sure Vstep would like to know about it...

Although you play the demo once ready.
