Hi, would you like to have a new anchor handler in the sim, I am the modeller that made the oil rig Eirik Raude, in the game, years ago 

I like the fishing boat better...but this one is great also!   I hope VSTEP takes you up on the offer.   

IF they don't...any chance you could put together an "add-on" of some sort that would allow this to be used in SS and then you sell it?

Hi,
I got some news regarding the ship, I got a response from Pjotr and they would very much like to have the ship, BUT I have to get permision of the ship designers before they can use it, and maybe I will get it and maybe not, they certainly know I have made it for our simulator.
Pjotr indicated that he maybe dont want the ship in the game itself, because it looks too much as the Sherpa, but that they want to use it in an DP simulator thay are working on.

And of course I also want something in return for the ship

I like that vessel of yours,very much,nicely build,and it would give more various options to this shim-game.
On the otherhand,maybe it's best to focus on the multiplayer-mode first.If that is working perfect,than i think it's time to think to expaned the game with more vessels.
I think that would be a great succes,for us all.

Hey, i got a solution for that.Just think of the ship as Farimonth Sherpa's Sister. I mean didn't Titanic had a sister too.

And the Sherpa also has a bunch of them allready.

A sister ship has to be (to a certain extend) identical though, from the same class, if you will. But this one isn't exactly like the Sherpa.

Could be a cousin though.

Hi Marc,
DP stands for Dynamic Positioning, which is when a vessel (AHTS/Drill Ship/Cable Ship/Shuttle Tanker etc) uses a mixture of main engines and FWD and AFT thrusters to maintain position.   It uses a computer controlled system which links up the various power plant systems with the GPS.   Mainly off shore vessels (as mentioned above) use the system though some cruise ships are also staring to use it!
