Actually it's the first time I see a normal fast cat ferry like being "converted" in to hydrofoil. Nice idea though.

What's her name & type, who was the owner?  It was like a French response to British SR.N4.

Almost close.  Côte d'Argent was the first of 2 N500 hovercrafts owned by SNCF & she was burnt out and scrapped before entering service. On my image it's the Ingénieur Jean Bertin

What's her name?  She's the main French Southern and Antarctic Territories support vessel. Based at Hobart in Tasmania and sails each summer to the various French Bases both on the Antarctic Continent and in the Southern Indian Ocean.
