She was a classic liner. If you call her ugly than EVERY classic liner would have been ugly while I like classic liners more than modern day cruiseships. :P

Well, floatboat, somehow you're right anyway: It isn't the RMS Britannic - it is the MV Britannic.

We are going in circles here - we've had this one already. And the longer the thread gets, the more repetitions we meet, because it's annoying to look through all 35 pages to see if it's the ship already has been posted.

Btw: the Aeria meanwhile has been wrecked. An it's probably not been a spy ship - but there are lots of discussions out there about the purpose - nobody seems to know.

isnt it a casino now? btw probally not a spy ship you say? looooool
Quote
"Solved!

She is called the Aeria

Apparently she is an ex-East German spy ship, taken over by the USSR after the collapse of East Germany……she arrived in Lowestoft from Archangel to see if they could make a floating casino out of her.

The name of the project she was built for : “Reede-Minenabwehr Boot Project 415″

She was build around 1985, apparently by the Peene Shipyard in Wolgast, (former East-) Germany.

Aeria has been towed away, to Lithuania, to the scrapyard."
