Title: how do I create my own mission

I was wondering if someone could help me and tell me how to do a custom mission or create my own mission on ship simulator 2008. I can not seem to figure it out. Thanks! ::)

Well, you need the mission editor! Do you have it? Use the search function if not - and you should find the manual too... :)

How do I know if i have the mission editor???  ??? Did it come with the game or is it extra software I need to buy? Thanks

HOW DO I KNOW WHAT VERSION I HAVE....THE BOX JUST SAYS SHIP SIMULATOR 2008 ENGLISH/ESPANOL/FRANCAIS.  ;D

hi there, you can find out what version you have by looking at the bottom left of the menu at the start of ship simulator ;D

well you have to have the patch but it should have already came with it but it could either be under shipsim files under start menu or it could be on the desktop

It's not difficult  ;)

You start the game, look in the bottom left corner, and it should tell you which version you have. It will either say:

1.0
1.1
1.3

If you have 1.1 or 1.3, you should have the mission editor. If you have 1.0, you need to dowload the mission editor at http://www.shipsim.com/downloads/patches.php or better still, the whole 1.3 patch

When it has finished downloading, you will have the editor on your desktop  ;)

It's no 1.2 update only 1.1 and 1.3 and New Horizon with 1.4

Version 1.2 was only included as part of the free upgrade for the Add-On ships, before the release of 'New Horizons' ;)
