Could I do this with a SU model...
« on: December 02, 2010, 12:52:27 »

OK so here is a YT clip of a famous film which I happen to like...  ;D

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0cU0BYXlTuI

Now... I know that scene was done with CGI and thus with Computer generated models (not like the good old days where everything was built  ::) )

Now... could you do something similar with a SU model...? Could I make movie footage using a SU model?

*I know they had a BIG budget making the film, but I was thinking more basics...  ;)

Well.. you can make animated sequenzes with GSU, and like..  pan/move around models and have them move about and be animated..

Takes a lot of work, and won't ever look like that, but yes, some basic form of this is possible.

No problem.

Don't expect miracles from it though.  ;D

its pretty complicated to make a movie, its like a real movie director does it but then using SU,
go through some tutorials first and learn the basics of vid-tech and then try a scene and see if it works
