Nope,
I will tell now,it's been to long.

The italian bureau installed 3 Gyroscopes inside a passengerliner.
My source came from History Channel, yesterday evening.

In nautical parlance, what does it mean "to get pooped"..?  :)

The Red Osprey has recently finished her new paint job and is now in the same livery of her sisters.

Why has she only just got the original livery?

That is why. ::) Oh, and BTW HMS Curacao was rammed and sunk by the Queen Mary when she was foolishly steaming too close across QMs bow during WW2. Not too clever.

O/T message for Marc...

Hi Marc, I too saw the programme about the gyros in those Italian ships. There is a good internet page somewhere about them- but I am damned if I can find it.

Officially they were de-commissioned due to being in-efficient, but there have been stories that the bearings collapsed sending some of the gyros off their mounts and smashing to bits anything that got in their way... True or false, I wonder. :-\
