We were on a little boat on a harbour tour and the skipper took us really close to show us it. We came down the port side, which was to the lee, and when we came past the stern, we caught the wind and it somewhat made for a lively trip (the ship was stationary/ very slow at the time and nothing to do with it).

Question: What is the oldest former Dover-Calais (in the same environment) still afloat anywhere in the world. (I must admit to not knowing the answer and will have to look it up anywhere)

Kallisti (former Free Enterprise) was laid up in Heraklion in 2003..
She was a nice ship in her day.. :)

Sorry but thats incorrect:

She will go out of service on 16 october this year. THEN she will be property of SAVECA and she will operate as a cruiseship in the Venezuela waters. Then will be decided if she will operate as a floating hotel, or that she will be wrecked.
