Well, since Diamant hasn't improved his answer...

It is either the European Pathway or European Highway, being converted in Bremerhaven from freight ferries into passenger ferries (the Pride of Kent and Pride of Canterbury)

To get back to the question:
 I think the picture shows the European Pathway being rebuilt to the car-ferry Pride of Canterbury..

I didn't knew that you asked it. I posted a question, then added the picture, then refreshed the page & finally saw your post...

you were close SD (and Ferryman), but it's sister "European Highway" been converted to "Pride of Kent"
