They will trot out the usual "budget airlines..." Err. Hello? Aviation fuel is a bit pricey too- the airlines are suffering; so WHY are ferry operators so slow to take advantage of them?

is whaling a japanese trdition?? if it is i think it is go to be very hard for them to stop whaling. stopping whaling for them is probably like not celebrating Christmas. ( just my opinion )

The point being that who are WE to say that whaling is bad when we brutally kill poultry to make pigs of ourselves at Christmas.

Just to keep this on topic, I shall include an opinion that a ship I once saw was VERY ugly... It was the MV Bernard Matthews. Anyone got a pic?
