Title: Giving ships other colors?

Hey guys,

I would like to give ships other colors like the jetski green or something.
But i have a problem :( dont know wich file i need to edit on most games that are .dds but cant find them in any location of shipsim files :(
so if you know how pls tell me :)

Hi ItsMehSimon. :) Unfortunately,There are limits to what you can do on the ship simulator series.(no offense to vstep) if you want to,you could only do that with mission editor. if you want to free roam in an environment,it is simple.No waypoints needed. Only title,description and a start object.BUT, you could choose only paint schemes for:P6 and the Sailing yacht-Selsey I



           And remember,NEVER Upload a mission with no waypoints.

hi ItsMehSimon,

repainting ships violates the end-user liscence agreement, so in other words, you could get in trouble by reskinning vessels.

It is possible, and allowable, to reskin the P6 patrol boat and the sailing yacht in SS 2008. Other vessels are not reskinnable.
