Using Nvidia Inspector with Ship Simulator Extremes
« on: February 13, 2012, 11:37:01 »

Hi all,

I'm very new to Ship Simulator Extremes. After 2 days of frustration caused by a less than ideal internet connection and hige Steam updates, I have finally been able to play around with SSE.

At present, it's very ugly.

I use Nvidia Inspector to control the graphics in all my games and want to do the same with SSE. A search in the forums pointed me in the direction of a flight simulator profile which I tried and it really hasn't improved things much.

Is anyone able to provide me their tried and tested Nvidia Inspector profile?

Finally, what is the application .exe I should be using within the created profile in Nvidia Inspector? I suspect it is the QuestViewer.exe however I wonder if running the game through Steam (grrrh) somehow interferes with Nvidia Inspector forcing its graphic settings onto QuestViewer.exe?

Can anyone perhaps shed any light on this for me?

Many thanks all,

Trent

Hi
I would just set the Nvidia to Auto select (pic) as SSE uses the c.p.u more
than graphics card.
