All I can say is contact VSTEP and they should sort the issue out for you.

I just got the game and it installed fine and registered my code onto steam, steam itself said its activated but when I want to run it a box appears saying 'Fail to connect to key server.' I'm wondering what that might mean?

I've registered my key on the forum and it worked ok.

Like Biggles and Ferrymaster I pre-ordered on the 9th from VSTEP, still haven't received my boxed copy from VSTEP and haven't received a reply from VSTEP for the e-mail that I sent on 28th to VSTEP. I have just sent another e-mail to VSTEP so hopefully I will get a reply to that one, but I'm not holding my breath!! In case you haven't noticed Captain Spencer, I ordered from VSTEP!!!!

One really hacked off non-user of SSE!!!!

Guys,

I can understand your frustration about not having the game delivered. I can assure you that if you contact VSTEP about this issue they will respond as soon as possible to help solve the issue.

It may also be related to a postal service issue, as some post does get stuck at a particular location.

I've just sent a e-mail to them asking where my game is and asking for a refund if it has not yet been shipped. I would not mind the 5-10 day wait if I ordered today but the 9th is abit over 10 days. And people on the other side of the world can get it faster than me also a person who lives on a island that is a 7hour boat trip from the mainland can get it faster than me. It would not be so bad if they gave us a link to a ship and a mission or two so at least we could have a little play with the game while we are still waiting.

I'm in holland and ordered the game the 13th, still nothing, but i called VSTEP and they send me an other one right away.
Maybe you can try to call them because they get lots of mail and it takes ages to get a respond.

Also preordered 9th of August directly from VSTEP!

Living in central Germany,
main postoffice is o n e minute away!
Airport of Frankfurt/Main is about 20 Minutes away!
In 10 minutes I can visit TNT, DHL and UPS..

I do not live in Lome/Togo.. so what by ZeussÂ´ enourmous butt is happening here???

Never ever had to wait for a p r e o r d e r e d game before!

Sry, but two games being "released" on 27th August became epic Fail for me!

I haven't had mine either (UK) so it is obviously a general shipping problem. Pity about the email which said I should have it last Friday afternoon - if I hadn't had that I wouldn't be worrying.
My problem is that I am going cruising for real, later in the week and if it comes while I am away they will send it back as they only keep registered mail for 7 days :-(

Although I recieved my game last saturday, I just recieved an e-mail from VSTEP concerning the (be)late(d) delivery.
Maybe it's good for all of you to inform you about the content. It was in Dutch, I'll try to tranlate it as good as possible:

Geachte heer,
Bedankt voor uw e-mail.
We hebben uitgezocht waarom uw Ship Simulator Extremes game nog niet bezorgd is.
De games zijn door ons mid vorige week verstuurd.
We hebben begrepen dat een probleem in het TNT distributiecentrum uw bestelling heeft vertraagd.
Er is ons toegezegd dat de games vandaag, uiterlijk morgen (1 sept) afgeleverd worden.
Kunt u ons een e-mail sturen als u de box morgen nog niet ontvangen heeft?

EDIT:VSTEp cant do anything about it,its now on the DHLÂ´s handÂ´s,or UPSÂ´s or maybe TNTÂ´s handÂ´s,they should bring it!

Like the others I will give it 1 more day then following aad's post. No game tomorrow then I will send it back when it comes and I will want a refund.
