Still not too pleased about my two favourite channel ships being painted in the same boring dark blue and white colour scheme every other ferry seems to be in these days ::)

I don't recognise the 1st and the 3rd ship down? The first one looks a bit like the Queen of Scandinavia, but not sure..  ???

So does this mean the whole DFDS fleet will be given a dark blue hull too (if they don't already have a dark blue hull)?

well i think the same they are going to be repainted with all their ships....

but on their website they have 3 fleets...
Tor Line, Norfolkline and Dfds Cruise

the Dfds cruise might stay the same colour (which is blue, light blue and white)
the tor line and norfolkline will get a dark blue hull

but i think its all going to be repainted

If making a ship blue and white is copying P&O they are also copying Seafrance and Stena Line and Condor and Seatruck and Brittany and LD Lines.....Like I said, the same boring blue and white colour scheme as everyone else, so it's not really copying....Norfolkline had the most interesting liveries with the bright blue....now it's gone...

PLUS...DFDS already had a blue and white colour scheme, so obviously they're going to change a new company they have purchased to their own colours.  :P

It is like someone pullinh up a paor opf trousers on the Ferries...

Seafrance has a narrow blue streak on the bottom near the water line, P&O is slightly higher, then Norfolk DFDS with the full trousers up to the superstructure.

It's not horrible...it's just a colour scheme that they have to change because the ships are still in Maersk colours. The Norfolkline/DFDS merger is a really good thing...it just means we loose those lovely bright blue ships :P

P.S, I'm a bit confused at why a big company like Maersk would want to pull out of the ferry industry?

uhm....

Is this the last interesting ferry colour scheme in Britain? :P .......We need Moby lines over here

Wow!

Yes, Transmanche Ferries is indeed yellow, but LD would probably change it if it wasn't for their contract...

But every ferry in Dover now has a blue hull of the same colour.

btw, LD pulled Transmanche out of Dover in early 2009....The Cote D'Albatre is now working at Portsmouth (Still for LD?), and the Seven Sisters practically owns Newhaven ::)
