can anyone tell me how to drive a steam locomotive so it can do the entire horseshoe curve railroad without running out of steam?

because it seems that i always run out of steam after about 5 miles of operating a steam loco.  :P

actually, i meant any steam locomotive. you know how well they blend in with horseshoe curve.

no, i meant: Big Boy, Challenger, K4, Northerns, Berkshires, GS-4's, Daylight.

yeah they are all two part locos, which have trouble because there are dual running steam engine issues

try a smaller one with only one engine

but only big boy and challenger are two parts. the others are only one-part locos, and they still dont work.

Class 70 Out in less than a hour.

And ive spent all day making the test track bigger and better ... It now includes a Port and now waiting for the Class 70 to Be unloaded of this ship

and my plan is...

Unload 70001/2/3/4 @ the port

Drive to Freightliner HQ in the Main Centre sidings. Uncople 70002/3/4 collect Cargowagons Drive to the Port and Propelle a 25-car Container Train back around the test track Circle:)

And here is the port...Waiting for the 70's

it Didnt take me long to do ... only 2/3 Hours

and a few Downloads (Like the cranes)

And wow isnt the Modified TestTrak

wow is the Class 70

Now my favorite Train in Railworks

This Picture Was taken at the New Station on the Track:)

On its way to the port With a Long Conainer Train

On the way to the port There is a hill it has to go down ... A Very Very Steep One .... and if you go 70MPH into the Hill...

You get a Flying Class 70

But NOT a Derailed One

Here is a Photo of at the bottom of the Hill

class 70? Do designers go out of their way to make diesels look as ugly as possible these days?

They're even uglier than the 59s- and that takes some doing!

I think the class 70 looks the way it does because its supposed to be ALOT safer than the 66. It also has A/C and increasing soundproofing. Theres also rumours that they have cupholders as standard! ;D
