Shippingblogg
« on: March 02, 2012, 22:47:12 »

Hi, I have a blog with my friend about shipping. :)
http://sjofartsbloggarna.com/
There you can see ship photos both from Sweden's capital city and the small port town in the north (Luleå).

Unfortunately, the blog is written in Swedish. but it might be interesting to see the pictures anyway ;)

Not to sound cliched, but what a long, strange, trip it's been.

It Is about half a meter thick. :)
The ships that go through the ice must be Ice rated.

To sail into the port of Luleå, the ship must have ice class 1A (severe ice conditions)

That's because they are Oil Tankers.
And you do not want an accident so that the whole ship exploded if someone smokes.
